For a query about badgers or badger activity send us brief details and your contact number via the 'Contact Form' and we will respond with help/advice.
Badgers in Difficulty
If you find a sick or injured badger you should take steps to get help for it. Do not try to deal with the badger yourself. Badgers may well bite in these circumstances and they have strong jaws and sharp claws. Call the Herefordshire Badgerline (24hr answerphone) on 07960348828 or the RSPCA on 0300 1234 999 or your nearest vet for advice.
Badgers in Danger
If you come across men who are digging or disturbing a sett or who are in possession or are harming a badger call 999and give as much information to the police about the event. DO NOT approach these men. They can be dangerous.
If you come across a sett that has been damaged, or a badger in a trap or shot, or a site of possible badger poisoning then call the police on 101 and give them as many details as you can about what you have seen, in particular where you have seen it.
In all cases where the police or other agencies have been contacted by you please also inform us of the event either via the 'Contact Us' form on this site or 07960348828.
